Assistant Director’s Corner
I’ve been a Palatine H.O.G. chapter member for 1 ½ years and a road captain for the last year. I’ve seen the chapter rides grow dramatically in the time I’ve been a member. My goal is to increase member participation in all facets of the club and increase enthusiasm throughout as all the members I have interacted with are GREAT!!!
I would also like to encourage all the chapter members to take part in any facet of the chapter activities and rides they feel comfortable with. The chapter board members as well as the participating general members are always eager to assist however possible.
I would like to strongly recommend all the new members to attend the New Members Meeting held at City Limits on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM and then attend the general meeting currently being held at 7:30 PM at Escape the next evening, the first Wednesday of each month! The more members participate insures more fun and building the Palatine chapter to be the best “Riding Chapter” in metro Chicago would be Awesome!!!
Another one of my responsibilities is to act as the liaison for the Illinois State H.O.G. Rally. I have personally attended many State Rallies and they are always a lot of fun and the camaraderie found between all the different chapters is always interesting as well as competitive when it comes to the activities!
I look forward to seeing the current members and I invite anyone who is considering becoming a member of a H.O.G. chapter to come to one of our general meetings and experience the atmosphere in person. If you can’t make the meeting you can contact any of the board members and/or contact Jeff of Jo at City Limits H.D. and any questions you have can be answered.
