Membership Corner

Hello chapter members and guests, and welcome to the membership page. I am Julio BarKan,
your new Membership Officer, taking over from JJ, who is now Activities Officer.

We have a terrific and growing chapter membership - over 325 active members who love to ride
and get together, and we do that a lot!!!

Check out our events section to see all the rides and other cool get-togethers we have planned for 2010.

For Prospective Members, we have attached a membership application to this site that you can
download, print, and send to me along with your $20.00 annual fee. Please make your checks out to Palatine IL HOG or cash. Chapter memberships run from January 1 to December 31, no matter when you
join, just FYI.

Mail your completed, signed form to:

OR - bring it to our next meeting - normally the first Wednesday of the month!

I'll verify your HOG National number and expiration date (a prerequisite) and then send you
your membership card.

Remember to always bring your card to chapter events - rides or whatever, to verify your
membership, and don't forget to bring your Event Card so we can sign in and help you fill it up
to enter into our drawings for some great prizes.

For Existing Members, remember that you must keep your National HOG membership up to date to be a member in good standing. I regularly verify expiration dates and unfortunately have to notify some of you that your chapter membership is suspended until you renew National.

Also, if you haven't renewed your chapter membership for the current year, just email or call me and we can do it in person or via mail Ð easy as pie!

If you are currently a HOG National member or had a prior National membership (within the last
two years) and wish to renew National, contact the H.O.G.¨ office at 1-800-CLUBHOG or log-
in to the Members Only site (on the HD web site) to renew on-line. You need your National
HOG (USxxxxxxx) number Ð if you don't know it, call or e-mail me with your name and I'll tell
you what your number is.
